Today is the Twenty-Fourth Sunday in ordinary time. The Feast of the Exaltation of the Cross.

29th September Feast of Our Lady of Sorrows.

I request the parents to send their children regularly for Sunday School.

We would be happy to receive sponsorship for snacks to children during their Sunday School. The names of the sponsors will be announced during the Sunday Mass. We thank Merlin Rodrigues and Velankanni Fernandes for sponsoring the snacks last Sunday. God bless.

Every Sunday, there will be a special adult Bible catechesis held in the church after the 08:30 a.m. mass, especially for the parents of our Sunday School Children. Sr. Maria Paz, Russel Dias, George Zacharia and Nirma Dias will be the persons in charge. Considering that there are many among us who don't know the Bible well this catechesis is open to all. I hope many will join. The Catechesis will be held in the church. Kindly note that there won't be adult catechesis today. In such circumstances Mr. George Zacharia will conduct the sessions online.

The Commission for Basic Ecclesial Communities Poona under the leadership of Fr. S.A. Louis is extending an invitation for a " Community Festival" of all small Christian Communities of PCMC Zone at St. Francis Xavier Parish hall, Chinchwad, on the 21st September 2025 from 2.00 p.m to 6.30 pm followed by a Holy Mass.

We are making a special collection of Minimum 5000/- per family for Repairs, Solar Panel and Maintenance of the Church. Requesting families to cooperate. Kindly collect the receipt as Church Maintenance. The collection made so far is about 6,75000/-
